Crowdicity will be running a workshop to highlight its work with the NHS at the Leading Innovation in Healthcare Conference at Leicester’s King Power Stadium today. Founder Rob Wilmot will take to the stage with customer Southern Derbyshire CCG, using the opportunity to share insights into the benefits of an ideas platform within the NHS and demonstrate how Southern Derbyshire CCG has successfully launched a platform within its healthcare network. The workshop, entitled Kickstarting an NHS innovation platform: 7 steps to success has been designed to inspire healthcare professionals and leave them with useful tips to launch their own ideas platforms.

Speaking ahead of the workshop, Rob said: “Innovation is a really hot topic within the NHS, with ideas platforms such as Crowdicity helping to deliver significant benefits. Implementing these innovation hubs is fast becoming a key area of interest within the NHS, so we’re taking this opportunity to show attendees how they can capture the ideas around them and use them to deliver real value and breed innovation.”

The one-day conference, run in partnership with the East Midlands Academic Health Science Network and Health Education East Midlands, will provide a forum to learn, share and celebrate innovation, leadership and creativity in the healthcare system. The event will also look at what enables and gets in the way of innovation and the benefits of promoting an innovative culture that supports patients, staff and the wider health and social care system.
