Sales Director, APAC
As Sales Director, APAC you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and driving good quality sales revenue from the APAC market.
Successful applicants will have a successful track record selling B2B SaaS software and will be expected to plan, approach and close new business opportunities with enterprises, government and NGOs.
The Sales Director, APAC role will include a mixture of online demonstrations, face to face meetings, attending industry events, solution creation and contract negotiation. You will be expected to prospect, develop and close new business opportunities across Australia and APAC
You will be reporting to the Head of Sales, APAC with the ability to inform product and commercial decisions that will impact the region and global operations.
As Sales Director, APAC you will:
Assist with the development of APAC market plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s regional sales targets
Identify, qualify, manage and close new business opportunities across your sales region, contributing to profitable growth
Contribute to creating a high performance culture and meeting revenue goals
Support in the development of the APAC sales and account teams by sharing expertise and experience with peers
Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
Feedback on sales and account management process, through effective use of the CRM
Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions
Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to senior management
Help to manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
We are looking for the following:
Considerable (5+ years) experience in B2B SaaS sales and a track record of achievement against target
Strategic sales skills with well-developed influencing and negotiating abilities
Comfort in owning and driving a sales process from lead generation, solution mapping to contract signature
Determination, drive and goal focused
Ambition to join a fast growing company and make an impact
A start-up, hands-on mentality
Creative thinker, thinks outside the box with an entrepreneurial spirit
Solid understanding of SaaS and a genuine interest in emerging technology and innovation
