Crowdicity was last week awarded ‘Rising Star’ status at the GP Bullhound Northern Tech Awards 2014, hosted in Manchester.
In a celebration of tech entrepreneurship, Crowdicity was chosen among other pioneering tech businesses, for its industry-leading platform, which is being applied to harness ideas and develop innovation for a host of big-name organisations.
Already working with companies such as Oxfam, John Lewis, LEGO, WWF, P&G and the NHS; Crowdicity’s Software as a Service (SaaS) offers a scalable solution for businesses of all sizes to implement a culture of change and drive innovation throughout their organisations.
John Eggleston, IT Strategy Director at the Business Growth Fund and event sponsor, said: “As a keen supporter of innovative UK business and sponsor of the GP Bullhound Northern Tech Awards, I was delighted to see Crowdicity recognised as a Rising Star.
“In this Information Age there’s no shortage of new ideas; the art is in harnessing them and being able to collaborate on their development effectively. As both an entrepreneur and investor this is a key challenge I’ve seen in many different situations. Being effective at identifying and executing new ideas gives distinct competitive advantage.
The Crowdicity SaaS platform provides an intuitive way to develop ideas, insight and opinions.
“The Crowdicity SaaS platform provides an intuitive way to develop ideas, insight and opinions. This is not just from internal employees, but also customers and partners - as a result the company is rapidly gaining many high profile clients. I look forward to seeing continued growth of Crowdicity and indeed increased innovation within many other businesses through use of the service.”
Founder of Crowdicity, Rob Wilmot, added: “This is a fantastic achievement for Crowdicity. To be recognised as a Rising Star among such strong competition is testament to how far we’ve come as a business in such a short time, and will no doubt help Crowdicity’s profile. Mixing with like-minded professionals on the night opened my eyes to the booming Northern tech scene, which is making a significant impact both nationally and globally.”
In an event at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester on 27 March 2014, Crowdicity joined more than 300 delegates to celebrate and recognise the very best companies in the northern technology scene.
Running since 2011, the Northern Tech Awards recognise the Top 50 Fastest Growing Technology Companies in the North and the Top 20 Rising Stars, and attracts interest from more than over 3,000 technology experts, mainly investors and entrepreneurs.
